This tutorial covers the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just before Thotar provides a taming Rod for the Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will give you a number of three taming rods, each one differs and enables you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler visit and finally an Armored Scorpid.

After getting completed the taming Component of the Quest chain, you need to head taming rod dire mottled boar to Orgrimmar and talk to Ormak Grimshot within the Valley of Honor so as this to unlock your companion pet handling skills: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.

Eventually, don't forget to visit the Pet Trainer and grab the Pet skills that you must give to your pet.
